Ella has long since stopped apologizing for descending from her sheltered Galilee Mountain beginnings into the real world. Moreover, she and has maintained her claim for innocence. It is this beautifully paradoxical relationship between the girl and the Mountain that creates these powerful lyrics and alluring melodies. Don't be fooled by her sweet voice though, there is bluntly critical sarcasm and wit lurking within the subtext of the lyrics, ironically placed and played where they may touch the deepest. This formidable combination stems from Ella’s dedication to social activism. A lifelong vegetarian who not only expects, but demands the best of herself and society around her, her disappointment, disillusionment and, conversely, her unwavering optimism are played out in a soulful inner struggle. Ella brings all of these conflicting emotions to life in this beautiful alternative-synth-pop debut album. Her first single "Charmed Life", from her upcoming album, was released on Israeli radio at the end of September 2011 and has enjoyed nationwide airplay on the most popular Israeli radio stations, and was song of the month on the Red Sea Radio in October. Ella has also been invited to play live on national radio and interviewed on many stations. In addition, the song will be featured in the soundtrack of the German documentary "Tim Sander goes to Hollywood" in the summer of 2012. It will also be released in London this coming August with the Indi Label RattlePop. Her second relelase in Feb this year, My Country's Burning, had receiced wide coverage and had become a local protest movement anthem. After conquering the Mexican electronic music scene with trance band Intersys she embarked upon a nationwide tour of Israel, singing backing vocals for Mosh Ben Ari, one of Israel's biggest rock stars. She has recorded two electronic albums with Intersys and her vocals have been featured in many electronic tracks with artists such as: Void, Bizzare contact, Asymmetric Soul, Epiphony, Soniq vision, Mr Black, and others. She sings in numerous commercials, in children TV programs, animated series and children CDs around the world. Ella has been touring Israel since July 2011 performing live with her band. Now, with her stunning debut solo album, “Ella vs Mountain” it is her time to take the spotlight and shine.
